What is Hiki Mai Ka La – A Residential Stabilization Program (RSP)?
Hiki Mai Ka La (Arrival of a New Day) program services located on Oʻahu are available to referred children and adolescents (ages 6-17) statewide who have experienced a crisis within the last 48 hours referred by CWS, CAMHD, ADAD, OYS, or by the CAMHD-contracted Crisis Mobile Outreach Services. The youth can be either male or female and/or identify as transgender. Youth’s intellectual functioning must be above the moderately impaired range.
Eligibility
Youth must have experienced a crisis during the past forty-eight hours in which the youth does not meet criteria for acute hospitalization and at least one of the following criteria:
